Storage

  • Can be handled in a safe manner in closed containers. Avoid contact with copper and its alloys. FFA drums should be stored in a cool and well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition.

Health & Safety

  • FFA is irritating to the skin, eyes, and mucous membrane.
  • In case of contact, the affected area is to be washed with plenty of water at least for 15 minutes.
  • Inhalation of fumes should be strictly avoided.
  • In case of inhalation, the victim should be moved to fresh air and oxygen should be administered.
  • In case of ingestion, the victim should be made to consume a copious quantity of milk and water.
  • Medical advice should be sought at once.
  • Personal protective equipment should always be used while handling this product.
