  • applications
    Rubber Chemicals

As a raw material for rubber accelerator like N-Dicyclohexyl 2-Benzothiazolesulfenamide.

  • applications
    Corrosion Inhibitor

As a raw material in the manufacture of vapour phase corrosion inhibitor like Dicyclohexylammonium Nitrate.

Storage

  • Can be handled in a safe manner in closed containers for a long period. Avoid contact with copper and its alloys. DCHA drums should be stored in a cool and well-ventilated area, away from sources of ignition.

Health & Safety

  • Dicyclohexylamine is irritating to the skin, eyes, and mucous membrane. In case of contact, the affected area is to be washed with plenty of water at least for 15 minutes. A dilute solution of Acetic Acid (2%) may be used to neutralize the amine. Continuous inhalation of fumes should be avoided.
