Responsible Care is the chemical industry's global initiative under which chemical companies work together to continuously improve their health, safety, environmental and security performance. In India, it is allotted by the Indian Chemical Council. It is considered to be over and above all ISO standards as it takes into consideration both, internal and external factory activities. This certification has 7 codes and works separately on each code for safety, environment and sustainability.

This ISO 50001 standard provides a practical way to improve energy use, through the development of an energy management system (EnMS). It provides a framework for organizations to develop energy-efficient policies, use data to better analyze energy consumption and take corrective measures.
