ALCHAN 300 is a corrosion inhibiting oil, essentially an oil miscible formulation. ALCHAN 300 is a brown viscous liquid which forms a protective film on the object and prevents them from atmospheric corrosion.

Physical Properties

NATUREALCHAN 300 is a brown viscous liquid which forms a protective film on the object and prevents it from atmospheric corrosion.
PRODUCT FUNCTIONALCHAN 300 acts as “Contact Corrosion Inhibitor” and is highly effective in protecting ferrous metal from corrosion. It forms a uniform protective film on the object surface, which acts as a barrier between the object and the corrodents in the environment.
METHOD OF APPLICATIONALCHAN 300 can be used by any of the following methods: The concentrated (80%) product can be diluted to 10% solution with solvents like mineral turpentine oil or kerosene by mixing in the ratio of 1:7. The object to be protected can be dipped into the solution for coating. For large objects, diluted solution can be brushed or sprayed on the surface
COVERAGEThe diluted solution (10%) will give coverage of 5 gms of active ingredient per square meter of the area. This is sufficient to arrest corrosion effectively.
PROTECTION PERIOD6-8 months at ambient temperature.
ADVANTAGESALCHAN 300 gives excellent protection even if the coated article is kept in an open environment.
It gives long term storage protection to articles with uneven surfaces.
Due to low viscosity, more objects can be treated in the same volume and hence there is no spillage loss.
Articles treated with ALCHAN 300 retains metallic luster unlike after using available common corrosion inhibitors.
The application method is clean, hence costly and tedious degreasing operations are eliminated.
It can be used during operations on metals i.e. grinding, cutting etc.
Treated articles can be easily inspected.

    For protection of automobile spare parts, machine spare parts and machine spare parts in transit or storage. As an additive in medium while cutting and grinding of tools.

Storage

  • Store in a cool and dry place. Store away from direct sunlight and naked flame.

Health & Safety

  • Avoid prolonged inhalation of vapors. Maintain adequate ventilation during application and drying. Wear masks during spray application. If splashes enter your eyes, wash with isotonic saline or a large quantity of water. No naked flame or smoke during application.
